Expert occupational therapy from Keri Thompson, a fully qualified and HCPC-registered independent OT serving Surrey, North East Hampshire, East Berkshire and surrounding areas.
Keri Thompson is a qualified and experienced occupational therapist based in Frimley, Surrey. As a registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and listed on the RCOTSS Independent Practice directory, Keri brings professional expertise and a deeply personal approach to every client.
Occupational therapy is about enabling people to do the things that matter most to them — whether that's returning home from hospital or respite, managing daily tasks at home, or regaining confidence after illness or injury. Keri works with adults across the full breadth of OT practice, tailoring every intervention to the individual.
Working independently means Keri can offer flexible, responsive, and truly person-centred care — without the waiting times often associated with statutory services.
Every therapy plan is built around your unique goals, values, and daily life — not a generic template.
Registered with the HCPC and a member of RCOT, ensuring the highest clinical standards at all times.
As an independent practitioner, Keri can offer timely assessments with flexible scheduling to suit you.
Assessments and interventions carried out in your home or community setting — where life actually happens.
Keri provides a comprehensive range of occupational therapy services, supporting adults to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.
Advice and guidance on practical home adaptations to support safer, more independent living — including grab rails, stair rails, and ramps. Keri will assess your home environment and identify what adaptations would best suit your individual needs, working alongside other professionals where more specialist input is required.
Equipment assessment and recommendation is a core part of Keri's work. From small aids that make everyday tasks easier and more independent — such as dressing, kitchen, and bathroom aids — through to larger specialist items including adapted seating, profiling beds, and mobility aids. Keri will identify the right equipment for your needs and help you access it.
Comprehensive assessments of physical and cognitive function, daily living skills, and occupational performance. Includes therapeutic assessment and support for memory problems, Alzheimer's disease, and other dementias — informing care plans and support packages.
Practical, goal-focused rehabilitation following trauma, orthopaedic surgery, or other health events. Keri specialises in long-term condition management in the community, providing strategies and treatment to overcome daily challenges caused by illness, accident, or frailty.
Specialist assessment and intervention to reduce falls risk in the home and community, alongside wheelchair assessments to ensure the right equipment for comfort, posture, and independence.
Dedicated support for carers alongside the people they care for. Keri also provides manual handling advice for health and care staff, promoting safe practice and reducing injury risk both in the home environment and care setting.
